This year saw the return of our Hawks Summer Party, at our new venue of HBK Leisure at Hinchingbrooke School. What started out as a friendly match against our sponsors Cooke Curtis & Co a few years ago has grown in 14 teams and over 100 players playing across 4 courts for over 5 hours, with families and droves of supporters enjoying the site coffee bar, treats from guest Dolly’s Deli and complimentary sports massage from Laura.
We had 4 Hawks teams out who has varying success, but all had so many laughs. It was a fantastic day, and we had such a great time getting our other halves playing and meeting all the Netball gang that we spend so much of our free time with.
Big thanks to HBK for hosting us, Emma, Jac and Sam for the group warm up to Scully, Janice, Janette, verity and Anya for umpiring all day and to all the player umpires and scorers. Dolly’s deli for some lovely grub and Laura for the sport massages as well as our sponsors Cooke Curtis & Co.
